Madeline Petrow graduated from Kings College London with a master’s degree in International Development. It was during this time that she discovered how destructive the fashion industry’s globalised supply chains are, and the negative impact they can have for local communities and ecosystems where our clothing is produced. She started on her mission to change the fashion industry into one that empowers instead of exploits, and launched MAMOQ, an online fashion marketplace with over 70 independent fashion labels that value ethics and sustainability as much as style and design.
